At the young age of ten years old, I became interested in wearing makeup. Cluelessly, I would apply my mother's foundation (which is much darker than my skin tone) and feel beautiful. Now, at 17 years old my skin has been through the ups and downs of terrible acne, tanning beds, and the occasional oils and dryness depending upon the season. No matter what my skin goes through I have taught myself to feel comfortable in my own skin. Yes, some mornings I look at myself and think "Will this pimple ever go away?" I'm a regular girl. I have my insecurities, but learning to accept my flaws was the first step to feeling consistently beautiful. With age, I've realized acne is inevitable, tanning beds are avoidable, oil is natural, and dryness is curable by moisturizer. This website is my way of showing how I "Makeup" my mind. Meaning, I have taught myself to love the little quirks and features I was given while enhancing my face with my favorite makeup products.
